Security
First
Gingerbread Cottage holds your child's safety of paramount
importance.
As well as having a very high staff to children ratio, there
are a number of state of the art security features built into
the fabric of the nursery. These include 11 cameras linked
to a CCTV system, which are recording 24 hours a day, seven
days a week, to ensure your child's safety from the outside,
and also enable their activities to be monitored from the
office.
The entrance gate is secured with an intercom and buzzer system,
the front door also has a buzzer system and both can only
be opened from the inside.
All the following items are provided at Gingerbread Cottage
Children's Nursery. This checklist ensures that you get the
very best in terms of education, care and safety for your
child.

High quality premises, which are safe and well maintained:
- Large, purpose designed enclosed garden
- British standard approved safety glass to all accessible
glass
Seperate,
temperature-controlled hot water supply to taps in children's
toilets, preventing scalding
- Low surface temperature radiators, preventing burns
- Finger
shields fitted to all doors accessible to children,
preventing trapping
- Seperate nappy changing rooms, toilet training rooms and
children's toilets
- Safe and hygenic floor and work surfaces
- Fire alarms, smoke and heat detector systems and emergency
lighting for rapid escape
- External lighting, 24hr monitored intruder/burglar alarms
and secured, enclosed rear premises

of your children securely - anytime, anywhere.
NurseryCam® is an easy way to follow your childs
daily routine, to watch your child interact with others and
